Sarah became a fan of acting at an early stage, even though she was still in the prep school. When her teacher advised Sarah not to play field hockey so she could attend Richard III, she fell in love with acting. Sarah became inspired to improve her acting skills by pursuing an academic double major at Hamilton College in English as well as Theater. She also studied theatre in London as well as Oxford in her Junior year. Both parents who were talented artists as well as English teachers helped her pursue her love of the arts.
